Casting promotional models
Promotional models are the face of a brand in a live room — activations, expos, product launches, in-store demonstrations and sampling. The job needs presentation, stamina and the confidence to talk to strangers all day, which is a different skill from standing in front of a camera. In practice it's the length of the commitment. Promotional models are booked per activation or event; brand ambassadors carry the same brand across a season. Both are booked the same way here.
How are promotional bookings priced?
Usually an hourly or shift rate rather than a day rate, sometimes with a minimum number of hours. Each profile shows a guide rate — agree hours, dress code and briefing time up front.
Do promotional models need to speak specific languages?
Often, yes. Every VELA profile lists the languages that model speaks, so you can cast for the audience actually walking past the stand.
