For models: your email address, and the profile details you choose to publish — name, city, category, measurements, experience, languages, guide day rate, biography and photographs.

For people who send an enquiry: your name, email address, optional company name and the message you send.

We also collect basic technical information such as pages visited, so we can keep the site fast and working.

Profile details you publish are shown publicly on VELA once your listing is approved — that is the purpose of the directory. Your account email address is never published.

Enquiry details are passed to the model you contacted so they can reply to you, and are stored in their inbox on VELA.

We use your email address to send service messages about your listing, such as review outcomes and new enquiries.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers who host the site, store the images and deliver our email, and where the law requires it.

You can edit or remove any detail on your profile at any time from your dashboard, and you can delete your listing entirely. Deleting your listing removes it from the directory and from search over time as search engines re-crawl the site.

Accounts are protected by authentication, profile photographs are stored in access-controlled storage, and access to personal data is limited to what the site itself needs to function.

VELA operates in South Africa and processes personal information in line with POPIA. You have the right to access your information, correct it, object to processing and request deletion.
